Installation

Showcase is all about doing it right the first time. One of the vital parts of any hard surface installation is making the subfloor as flat as possible before putting in the new products. So after we remove the existing floors, you'll see us taking the time to smooth the uneven pockets that exist in concrete slabs.

Depending on the specific line you're looking at, luxury vinyl planks will either be glued down directly to the subfloor or floating on their built-in cushion and joined together with patented locking systems.

Maintenance

Luxury Vinyl is hassle-free. As with all flooring, you'll want to attend to spills and stains promptly to minimize the possibility of discoloration. For general cleaning, the easiest method is a light spray product with a microcloth mop. We carry the Bona brand of hard-surface cleaning products available in our showroom. Do not use soap or detergents as they may leave a dulling film.

If you need to move furniture, it's best to lay a piece of wood or a hardboard runway to protect the floor from accidental gouges.
