Clean, Creative and Modern
Tile and stone floors are most commonly installed in kitchens, bathrooms and entryways, but can also flow throughout living rooms and hallways. Tile isn't damaged by water, so it's an excellent choice for rooms with plumbing. Bacteria cannot live on tile floors either, making it a very hygenic choice for bathrooms and kitchens.
Porcelain and ceramic products are kiln-fired for strength and sealed to resist stains. If the tile extends outdoors, we'll recommend porcelain for the frost resistance, but either is good for interiors.
Looking for natural stone? Travertine comes tumbled or precision cut, porous or filled. Natural products have inherently high variation from tile to tile, and no two will look the same - one of the main reasons home owners are attracted to it.
Kitchen backsplash? We also have the experience and the product lines to design and define your backsplash with specialty tiles such as glass, textured metal and natural stone. We also carry a wide selection of meshed mosaics, all available to see in our recently reorganized showroom.
A Look That Fits Your Room
The size and layout of your tile is up to you. Most of the products we carry come in both medium and large formats. Larger rooms will benefit from larger tiles, and many floors look even better with the tile installed on an angle.

We have many ceramic, porcelain and natural stone products to browse in our showroom. After you've taken the samples home to make sure the color looks good in all lighting conditions, you can choose the right grout color from a plentiful selection.
If you're interested in upgrading to stain-resistant or stain-free grout choices, we carry Custom Prism and various epoxy grouts.
Installation
Tile takes longer to install than other types of floors. And good floors, like any good construction, start from the bottom up.
Before we lay any new product, we take the time to properly prepare the subfloor by scraping, cleaning and smoothing the concrete to eliminate debris that would contaminate adhesives or cause raised corners.
Like with other hard surfaces, we spread a material called float to flatten any uneven areas on the concrete slab. This process is vital to ensure superior adhesion of the tile to the slab and avoid hollow spots. You'll notice that we take the extra step to trowel thinset across the back of the tile as well as onto the floor. We do it right the first time, so you can entertain your guests without every feeling embarrassed about hollow tiles.
We've been doing this for 30 years and we hope to earn your business for the next 30.
Maintenance
Tile holds up well on its own. Dust and dirt can be cleaned with either dry or wet mops.
You may wish to seal the grout after it has set for the 30 days it requires to fully cure. Grout sealants are low cost and easy for home owners to apply.
